chainer_morganaI haven't been here for years now. It feels pretty strange, like going back to a place you remember as a kid, you have memories, some good, some bad (some pretty bad) and it's bittersweet to be back, because it no longer is like it was at that time.
Honestly I don't think everybody running from Tumblr will get here, this place could work for old people, like me, but it's not immediate and linear enough for the younger among us, but I got it out of the dust anyway, in case someone WILL get here to post amazing art and such. I got all the old posts private (the past is the past and must stay buried. Possibly in a very, very deep hole), I changed a few things in my profile (omg, was I such a stupid fangirl 10 years ago?) but I'm too lazy to do much else.
All the links are updated though and I'll basically grant access to anyone, because I don't plan on posting personal stuff here.
Not much else to say, I guess. My updated fandom interests are in my profile (still have to add some stuff) and if you want to talk to me...drop a comment? How communication even works on this thing? I don't even remember!

I don't miss lj just because I've bad memories linked to it, but I've nothing about DW.

Date: 2018-12-06 04:28 am (UTC)The influx will definitely ebb and flow - it always does. There are A LOT of people showing up here, though, so I'm optimistic about how it's going to sugar out. Personally, this was the kick in the pants I needed to realize how much tumblr *wasn't* working for me, but was an immense time suck with little return. I'm going to miss it [as I do like shiny things], but I'm excited to be redirecting my fannish energies back here.
